This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Ithaca is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ithaca follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I got a falafel pita and it was very solid. Also, his sauces are all up front, and he'll give you generous squirts of whatever you want - tzatziki, garlic, pomegranate, etc. Plus, it was $10.80 including tax - not bad these days.

I ordered chicken over rice with no rice, basically just the chicken plate. Simple. The guy acted like he could not process the request. I repeated it several times and each time he acted more confused, asking if I wanted it on a gyro instead. I kept clarifying that I just wanted the chicken without the rice underneath. People have dietary restrictions. After I kid you not, four or five rounds of back and forth with this guy saying βI donβt know what you wantβ, I gave up and left without ordering. To be 100% honest, he and his coworker were openly laughing at me throughout this exchange and joking with the other customers. You really donβt expect to be mocked for ordering when you go to get some lunch at a Halal cart. Not the experience I expected and I definitely wonβt be back.

I got the mixed rice platter plus a side of hummus and pita. I got my food super quick and the owner seemed very kind! The food was good and filling - although Iβm not sure if the hummus and pita was worth like $9. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my meal!

This place is amazing, so glad thereβs a halal cart in Ithaca. The mixed over rice is seriously addictive, thatβs how good it is, and I actually like both sauces (which is rare for me). Great spot, orders come out quick, and absolutely delicious.

I paid $15.12 for this... Asked for fries instead of rice on the falafel platter and paid extra. Didn't know I was being skipped out on the salad too.
